Job Overview:

As a Processing Operator at Greenhouse, you play a hands-on role in the daily production of our plant-based juices and milks, ensuring every batch is made safely, accurately, and to ourhigh qualitystandards. Youare responsible forkeyprocessing activities such as batching ingredients, mixing recipes,operatingprocessing systems, and preparing product for downstream filling and packaging.

In this role, you will regularlyoperateand monitor high-speed processing equipment and use HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems to run production lines, adjust settings, and control parameters such as flow rates, temperatures, mixing times, tank levels, and pump operation. You will ensure that allproduct isprocessed according to established recipes and production requirements, whilemaintainingconsistency from batch to batch.

The Processing Operator is also responsible formaintaininga clean, organized, and food-safe environment, completing sanitation and pre-operational checks, and documenting production data accurately. By following GMP, HACCP, and food safety protocols, you help ensure Greenhouse delivers safe, high-quality products that support our mission of helping people grow their healthiest lives through daily habits.


Statement of Work & Responsibilities:

Production Execution

  • Work efficiently and safely to meet daily production targets.
  • Carry out assigned production tasks, including moving, prepping, weighing materials, and
  • Operating various production equipment.
  • Read, understand, and accurately follow recipe sheets and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Record process variables at required intervals and escalate any non-conformances promptly.

Equipment and Tools Operation

  • Operateandmonitorhigh-speed production and processing equipment used in batching, mixing, blending, transferring, and processing plant-based beverages.
  • UseHMI (Human Machine Interface) systems to start, stop, and adjust equipment parameters such as flow rates, temperatures, mixing times, tank levels, and pump speeds to ensure production meets recipe specifications and quality standards.

Safelyoperatepowered material-handling equipment, including:

  • Forklift: Used to load and unload raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials; move pallets of finished goods; and stage materials for production. Perform daily pre-operational inspections and follow all warehouse safety protocols.
  • Drum Lifter / Drum Handler: Used to safely lift, tilt, and position ingredient drums (e.g., liquid concentrates, oils, or syrups) for transfer into batching tanks. Ensure proper securing and controlled pouring to prevent spills or contamination.
  • Scissor Lift: Used to safely access elevated areas for sanitation, equipment inspection, ingredient loading, or minor maintenance support while following fall protection and safety guidelines.
  • Electric Pump Trucks (Powered Pallet Jacks): Used to transport pallets of raw materials, WIP (work in progress), and finished goods efficiently across the production floor and warehouse areas.
  • Pallet Wrapper:Operatestretch-wrapping equipment to secure finished pallets for storage or shipment, ensuring load stability and compliance with shipping standards.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to ensure machinery is functioning properly and escalate mechanical or safety concerns to maintenance asrequired.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all tools and equipmentin accordance withGMP and food safety requirements.

Food Safety and Quality Assurance

  • Maintain strict adherence to Food Safety and Quality procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Identifyand escalate food safety concerns to leadership andparticipatein their resolution.
  • Understand food safety risks related to the manufacturing process and follow protocols to mitigate these risks.

Workplace Maintenance

  • Maintain and manage a clean and organized work area during and after production.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience:Must have at least 1 year of experience operating in manufacturing equipment in food/beverage or CPG;operating and monitor high-speed production and processing equipment used in batching, mixing, blending, transferring, and processing plant-based beverages;using HMI systems to start, stop, and adjust equipment parameters such as flow rates, temperatures, mixing times, tank levels, and pump speeds to ensure production meets recipe specifications and quality standards;operating forklift, drum lifter / drum handler, power pallet jacks, and pallet wrapper.
  • Technical Proficiency:Must have at least 1 year of experience with SOPs,GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and have strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • AttentiontoDetail: Ability to precisely follow prescribed production methods and documentation practices.
  • Adaptability:Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions as necessary.
  • DocumentationSkills: Strong ability to record and manage process variables accurately.
  • MathSkills: Basic mathproficiencyto ensure accuracy in weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Physical Stamina:Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand forlong periodsin cold/wet environments.
  • Technology Skills:Basic computerproficiencyand ability to use manufacturing software/scanners.
  • Certification:Forklift License Required and scissor lift license preferred.
