Position: Packing Associate
Location: Austell, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM | 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Pay: 1st Shift: $13/hr | 2nd Shift: $14/hr | 3rd Shift: $18/hr
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary
We are hiring Packing Associates for a client in Austell, GA, with openings across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This is a production floor role where attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential. If you're dependable, physically capable, and looking for steady work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Inspect finished products for defects or quality issues
Pack products according to customer specifications and company standards
Apply labels and packaging materials accurately
Verify product quantities before packaging
Stack and pre-wrap pallets
Assist with production line changeovers and housekeeping
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Report damaged products or equipment to supervisors
Follow all safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where applicable
Must Haves
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
Ability to stand for extended periods on a production floor
Attention to detail and ability to follow packaging specifications
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in a packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
Familiarity with GMP standards or food/consumer goods production
Experience stacking and wrapping pallets
