Finishing Gluer Operator
The Opportunity
The Finishing Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up and operating gluing equipment to produce folding carton products that meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. This role supports efficient production through accurate makereadies, quality inspections, and equipment upkeep.

  • Set up and operate folder/gluer equipment for assigned jobs
  • Perform makereadies and adjustments to meet quality and production standards
  • Inspect cartons and test glue bonds to ensure product quality
  • Monitor production speeds and complete required production and quality documentation
  • Support preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety policies
  • Assist other operators and provide break relief as needed

What you need to succeed:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience operating gluing or similar manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to read work instructions and complete basic documentation
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with folding carton or packaging equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with auxiliary equipment (inkjet, tape, labeling) preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, bending, and climbing
  • Must work in varying temperatures (hot or cold)
  • Willingness to work any shift (days or nights)
  • Required use of PPE including safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses
