We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
Performs modeling and analysis to support customers' needs and benefits in regulatory filings such as the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP), New Resource/CPCN Filings, and other regulatory filings. Ensures that all modeling and analysis is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations while providing reliable, affordable, and increasingly clean energy to Dominion Energy customers over the long term. Performs the modeling, financial and strategic analysis related to the Company's capacity resource plan including risk assessment analyses, optimization analysis, rate analysis, and financial implications. Focuses on process improvements across the ISP team.
The level of the positions will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Associate: 1 + years of relevant experience.
Mid-level: 2-3+ years of relevant experience.
Senior: 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of energy markets, financial analysis, utility industry operating terms, generation equipment, environmental regulations, economics, financial statements, utility rates, capacity markets and commodity markets.
  • Knowledge of business information research, analytical methods, and statistics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to comprehend and disseminate information to multiple audiences.
  • Ability to develop effective presentations for a variety of audiences and external groups.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities within specified deadlines.
  • Prior experience with capacity expansion or production cost modeling software such as PLEXOS, Promod, Aurora, EnCompass, Strategist or similar software is preferred.

Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Applied Science, Engineering, and Quantitative Disciplines.

Associate Salary range $58,700 to $76,200
Mid Level Salary range $73,200 to $95,000
Senior Salary range $102,300 to $132,800
