Who We Hire
We’re intentional about building teams that raise the bar. Our vision is simple: high performing, self-directed teams made up of 100 percent awesome teammates. We are ridiculously selective because every new hire, including interns, should make us better. Our most successful trainees are:

  • Hungry: motivated, curious and eager to grow
  • Humble: receptive to feedback and strong collaborators
  • People-smart: effective communicators and team players

Our Culture
At Flywheel, you’ll be part of a high-performance environment where excellence is expected, supported and celebrated. You’ll work alongside teammates who operate at a high level and empower you to do the same. Our culture is defined by:

  • Ownership: Meaningful responsibilities from day one
  • Innovation: Frontline ideas drive better ways of working
  • Accountability: Clear expectations and constructive feedback

When the mission is clear and everyone is empowered, great results follow.

About the Trainee Program (90-Day Contract-to-Hire)

Our paid Field Trainee program is a 90-day, hands-on learning experience designed to develop your technical skills and expose you to multiple field disciplines. You’ll contribute directly to real operations while receiving coaching, mentoring and practical training.

No oil and gas experience is required. We provide the tools, support and guidance you need to succeed.

Throughout the program, you’ll receive ongoing evaluations and feedback. Trainees who perform successfully and demonstrate alignment with our values will be considered for full-time employment at the end of the 90 days.

What You Will Gain

  • Experience in purpose-driven, high-performance culture
  • Hand-on mentorship from experienced professionals
  • Opportunities to solve problems, propose improvements and make an impact
  • A team-oriented environment where your work matters
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to learn mechanical systems and perform basic repairs
  • Ability to use analytical tools or software to troubleshoot issues
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to working safely in all environments
