Job description

Adecco is assisting a local Hollister, CA client in recruiting for an Incoming Quality Inspector! If you have a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working with precision equipment, and take pride in ensuring top-quality products, we'd love to hear from you.

Monday to Thursday 6am to 430pm 3 Days Off!!

$25 to $28/hr DOE

What You'll Do:

  • Inspect incoming materials, mechanical components, assemblies, and electronic parts to ensure they meet AS9100 quality standards.

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, SmartScope, CMM, and other precision measurement tools.

  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and GD&T requirements.

  • Verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), material certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation for accuracy and traceability.

  • Document inspection results and generate quality records to support compliance and audits.

  • Identify and report non-conforming materials through the NCR process and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams on resolutions.

  • Inspect electronic and soldered assemblies to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards (if qualified).

  • Maintain organized quarantine areas and support internal and external audits.

What We're Looking For: ? Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace environment
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
Experience using precision measuring equipment and automated inspection systems (SmartScope and/or CMM preferred)
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards; J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certifications are a plus

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
