Job description

The Wholesale Operations Specialist is responsible for managing key aspects of Free Fly's National wholesale account operations and supporting the company's Customization, Corporate, and Independent Accounts. This role serves as the primary operational and business contact for National accounts and evaluates account requirements, operational issues, order fulfillment risks, and other matters affecting account performance.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Manage and support customization, corporate, and wholesale programs for existing and prospective accounts, including presenting program benefits, evaluating account needs, and supporting the development and closing of new business
  • Manage National accounts and, as needed, Customization sales samples each season, including forecasting, allocation, distribution
  • Lead seasonal photo uploads to national platforms, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and timely execution
  • Manage day-to-day communication with national accounts, third party platforms and external parties providing strategic guidance and resolving issues independently
  • Track orders to ensure on-time delivery, proactively identifying risks and determining corrective actions
  • Manage backorders and short ships, making judgment calls on fulfillment solutions and communicating directly with buyers
  • Oversee daily EDI tasks, including managing PO changes, resolving EDI errors, and reviewing inbound and outbound documentation
  • Maintain the sales order book for national accounts by releasing orders within the correct ship window and coordinating routing with operations
  • Ensure all order-related decisions support account requirements, operational efficiency, and company objectives
  • Maintain brand standards by performing monthly audits of national account websites, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrective actions
  • Consolidate and analyze weekly sales rep reports into strategic summaries for internal teams, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in wholesale, national account support, B2B sales, or related field
  • Experience with EDI systems, wholesale operations, or account management preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, negotiate pricing, and support sales growth
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • High level of professionalism, autonomy, and judgment
  • Ability to multi-task and work in tight time frames
