Position Description
Setup and operate various equipment used in flycutting tube extensions made out of copper, copper alloys, brass or other raw material type making adjustments necessary to comply with drawings, quality, safety and methods procedures. Will also install turbo spirals when required.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to operate equipment, setup equipment, identify and locate required tooling, inspect first production piece of each run and continually monitor conformance to standards. This position also requires the ability to make arithmetic calculations, read blue prints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blue prints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues.
  • Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace.
  • This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Majority of position requires sitting, bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to work any hours required.
  • Assist in personnel training as required.
