What is a Fly In Fly Out Mining job?

A Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) mining job is a work arrangement where employees travel to remote mine sites for a set period, usually working long shifts, before flying back home for their scheduled time off. FIFO roles can be demanding due to long hours and time away from family, but they often offer competitive salaries and benefits.
