Job description

Job Title:  Millwright - Manufacturing

Department: Asphalt Plants

Reports to:  Plant Manager / Yard Foreman

Major Role and Purpose

  • Install and maintain equipment used in the manufacturing of Asphalt.

Description of Duties:

  • Dismantle, repair and re-assemble heavy industrial machinery.
  • Install equipment such as shafting and conveyors.
  • Work with a variety of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.
  • Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
  • Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
  • The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

Education:

  • High School Diploma.

Work Experience:

  • Knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright or similar job preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
  • Reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid Driver's License with positive points and reliable transportation.
