L.G. Hanscom Field Airport is currently seeking applications for Temporary On Call Snow Removal / Heavy Equipment Operators for the 2026 - 2027 winter season. Driver must be available whenever weather dictates including nights, days, weekends and holidays. Plowing equipment is provided by Massport and located at Airport.
ESSENTIAL TASKS OF THE JOB
  • Plow, shovel, scrape, sand, and maintain the walkways, roadways, runways, and taxiways at Hanscom Field, located in Bedford, MA.
  • Operate large and small specialized snow removal vehicles on airport property. All shifts available, including holiday, overnight, and weekend work, as needed, dependent on the weather.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A or B) recommended.
  • Snow removal experience preferred.
