We are looking for an Industrial Millwright to join our Team in Aurora, Ontario.
 

Primary Purpose and Function: Licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic.

  • Must have Industrial Millwright License

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain production and building equipment. Fabrication of machine parts to improve safety and or machine efficiencies.


Knowledge and Skill:

  1. Must have competent skills and knowledge in pneumatic systems,
  2. Work safely while performing maintenance functions in manufacturing or processing environments.
  3. Be competent to operate safely general shop machine and hand tools such as, Lathes, Grinders, and Welders.
  4. Service and maintain Hydraulic systems,
  5. Power transmission components, disassembly and reassemble and proper techniques for alignment.
  6. Inspection and repair of centrifugal pumps and valves.
  7. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and fluid power schematics for troubleshooting.
  8. Plan and safely perform rigging and hoisting operations.
  9. Join metals using oxy-acetylene and electric arc welding techniques.
  10. Operate heavy lifting equipment such as tow motors scissor lifts and overhead cranes.
  11. Knowledge and practice of lockout/tagout procedures for the safety of self and others.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • This individual will have daily duties and responsibilities. They will have to follow a detailed Preventative Maintenance and Food Defense Program schedule and fill out the proper documentation.
  • Must be able to work an 8 hour - 2 week rotation (midnight, afternoon, and day shift)
  • Keeping the building running safely and smoothly
