About the Role
You'll own the day-to-day operations of our production floor and lead a team of skilled technicians. You'll coordinate schedules, solve problems on the fly, lead continuous improvement, and make sure we're delivering quality products on time. If you like a team that's moving fast and want to make a real impact, this is your role.
- Supervise production schedules and coordinate teams to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and lead improvements to boost efficiency
- Lead daily production meetings to review goals, performance metrics, and address team concerns
- Develop manufacturing schedules, allocate labor and capital resources, and manage labor expenses
- Keep equipment maintained, enforce safety guidelines, and make sure quality standards are met
- Evaluate employees, manage the labor pool, and create or recommend manufacturing policies and procedures
What You'll Bring
- Have proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in fiber optics
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, or strong vocational or technical education
- Have 3+ years of manufacturing experience with proven leadership ability
- Are self-motivated with careful problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Communicate clearly and can manage multiple priorities at once
- Can pick up new methods quickly and adapt to changing needs on the floor
