About the Job
 

Summary of Position
This position is designed to assist Drosophila stock maintenance, fly food cooking, and genetic research. This task requires precision and accuracy. The candidate will receive training.  Approximately 12 hours a week. 
Job Duties:
50% Maintain Fly Stocks: Assist in maintaining fly stocks
20% Fly Food Cooking: Preparing fly food for the Drosophila lab community 
30% Drosophila genetic research: Assist in molecular genetic experiments
 

Qualifications
 

Required Qualifications must be documented in application materials

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS or work experience to equal two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and focus.

Pay and Benefits
 

Pay Range: $22.00 depending on education/qualifications/experience.
