Position Responsibilities
  • Expert Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, and scrapers.
  • Site Preparation: Clear, level, and prepare job sites; move and distribute earth, gravel, and rock according to project specifications.
  • Technical Precision: Utilize GPS-based machine control systems to ensure grade accuracy and project excellence.
  • Equipment Care: Conduct pre-operation checks, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure fleet reliability and longevity.
  • Safety & Collaboration: Adhere to all safety protocols while collaborating with supervisors and crew members to meet strict timelines and goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction with proficiency across multiple machine types.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with GPS machine control systems and the ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and operate machinery for extended periods.
