Role Objective:


The primary function of this role is manage the rotable inventory within the company and provide consistent rotable stock for use on fleet and for sale to external customers.ย 


Essential Job Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate inventory of rotable inventory in stock.
  • Identify trends of rotable inventory needs on both the fleet and in the broader market.
  • Source and purchase rotable cores on the market.
  • Maintain accurate accounting of rotable inventory core costs, repair costs, and other financial requirements
  • Ensures that appropriate stock levels are maintained for fleet aircraft and for part sales.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Ensures all rotable inventory paperwork is accurate and filed as required.ย ย 
  • Conduct market searches for material pricing/availability as well as market research on component repair and/or overhaul(s)
  • Track core returns from customers.
  • Track repair and overhaul work for Fly Alliance parts.
  • Work with accounting team for proper financial entries of all rotable exchanges by entering bills reporting COGS and completing quarterly Consignment Reports for distribution to the consignment owners.

  • Completing tasks and projects with a sense of urgency, working independently to solve problems.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Some physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 5-10 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others.

Travel:

May require travel between our Orlando Hangar and the Ocoee office/warehouse location.


Required Education/Experience:

Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position.
