Engagement Type: Contract (W2 or Corp-to-Corp) | Base Location: Nashville, Tennessee | Remote: Yes — candidates from all 50 US states are eligible

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Palantir Foundry Developer for a contract engagement based in Nashville, Tennessee with remote flexibility. You'll be a key technical contributor on Palantir Foundry, working with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design, build, and operationalize data-driven applications and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foundry Platform Development: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ontology objects, and Foundry applications using Pipeline Builder, Code Workbook, Contour, Workshop, and related tooling.
  • Ontology Design & Data Modeling: Define and manage ontology object types, properties, links, and action types to create a unified semantic layer across enterprise data domains.
  • Data Pipeline Engineering: Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark, Python (PySpark), and SQL transforms. Implement incremental processing, schema enforcement, and data quality checks.
  • Application & Dashboard Development: Develop Foundry Workshop applications, Contour analyses, and operational dashboards that surface actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product owners, data architects, and business teams to translate requirements into Foundry solutions.
  • Best Practices: Contribute to coding standards and documentation; support code reviews.
What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, and/or Contour)
  • Proficiency in Python (PySpark), Spark, and SQL for data transforms
  • Experience building data pipelines and applications in a production environment
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT patterns
  • Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Nice to Have
  • Palantir Foundry certification or formal Palantir training
  • Experience in defense, healthcare, finance, or supply chain industries
  • Familiarity with AIP (Palantir AI Platform) or Palantir Apollo
