National Hose & Accessory, established in 1985, is a leading distributor of hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings, and fluid transfer solutions. As a Premier Gates Distributor, we maintain one of the largest hydraulic component inventories in the Southwest United States, supporting industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, construction, marine, and industrial maintenance.

With over 50,000 square feet of inventory and warehouse space, we provide a comprehensive range of hydraulic hoses, industrial hoses, metal hoses, couplings, adapters, gasket materials, and fluid transfer accessories. Our capabilities include custom hydraulic hose assemblies, hose kitting programs, and engineered fluid conveyance solutions, supported by advanced high-speed cutting, crimping, and assembly technologies.

Role Description

This is a full-time Outside Sales Representative role covering the Houston, TX territory and surrounding Gulf Coast industrial market. The position focuses on industrial hose, hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings, and fluid transfer products for customers operating in oil & gas, petrochemical plants, refineries, manufacturing facilities, industrial contractors, and maintenance organizations.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing and growing existing accounts, and expanding market share throughout the Greater Houston industrial corridor. The role includes prospecting new customers, building relationships with plant maintenance teams and procurement professionals, and identifying opportunities for hydraulic hose assemblies, industrial hose solutions, and related MRO products.

This position requires a consultative sales approach, working closely with customers to understand application requirements, recommend the correct hose and fitting solutions, and provide fast, reliable service for critical operations.


Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in managing customer relationships, territory sales, and developing new B2B business opportunities

Strong relationship-building, consultative selling, and customer service skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

Proven ability to manage a sales territory, grow accounts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently in a field sales environment

Knowledge of hydraulic hose, industrial hose, fittings, couplings, adapters, fluid transfer systems, or industrial MRO products is highly desirable

Prior experience in outside sales, industrial distribution, hose & fittings sales, hydraulics, fluid power, or industrial supply is preferred

Experience selling into oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments is a strong plus
