Job description

We provide high-quality, customer-focused de-watering and fluid transfer solutions. With decades of expertise, our pump division delivers comprehensive solutions from design to on-site installation, system monitoring to dismantle and demobilization, and manufactures over 50% of our products in-house.

The Yard Technician maintains the cleanliness of the yard and keeps rental equipment organized to minimize customer wait time. This position assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out, and provides basic operational knowledge.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washer
  • Ensure proper PPE is worn while working in the yard
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment
  • Provide customers with basic training as needed
  • Fuel and meter equipment upon check-in
  • Record fuel logs and required operational information
  • Stage equipment for deliveries
  • Maintain proper yard organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard
  • Ensure all rental equipment is properly tagged and includes required keys
  • Perform small deliveries and pickups to client sites or retailers using a pickup truck as needed

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Valid state-issued Driver's License
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Work is primarily conducted in construction sites, equipment yards, and transportation routes

  • Duties may involve both shop-based and field activities
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols is required at all times
  • PPE such as steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection must be worn as required
  • Must be comfortable operating around large equipment and active job site conditions
  • Lifting heavy components and materials is often required
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential as conditions can change rapidly
