With over 30,000 employees across Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe, we offer a dynamic environment to develop and perfect your skills in a field filled with exciting challenges and opportunities.

About the role

Job Overview: Orange Wholesale International

We are seeking a highly experienced International Wholesale Senior IP Account Manager to lead and develop our global IP traffic business. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of worldwide IP traffic flows, including traffic originating from Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Content Providers, and CDN players. This role requires strategic insight into market dynamics, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to provide guidance on infrastructure deployment to optimize network performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow international wholesale IP accounts, focusing on traffic flows from global ISPs, Content Providers, CDN operators, and hyper/neo-scale actors.
  • Analyze and monitor worldwide IP traffic patterns using advanced IP traffic tools, staying abreast of ongoing developments in AI tools relevant to traffic management.
  • Drive the internalization of IP traffic within the Orange Group and increase traffic sent to Orange’s worldwide customer ISPs.
  • Provide expert recommendations on the optimal placement of IP/IPX PoPs and content servers, considering infrastructure needs across subsea, terrestrial, and satellite networks.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the IP Transit and Peering markets, including the strategies of hyper-scale and neo-scale players.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align infrastructure deployment with traffic flow insights and market trends.
  • Identify new opportunities for traffic growth and strategic partnerships.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging AI tools, and innovations impacting IP traffic management and infrastructure.
About you
  • Extensive experience in international wholesale IP traffic management or related fields.
  • Deep knowledge of global IP traffic flows from ISPs, Content Providers, CDN players, and hyper/neo-scale actors.
  • The candidate must understand Autonomous System Numbers (ASN’s), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) routing, peering policies (hot potato vs. cold-potato routing) and global fiber/subsea cable technology.
  • Strong expertise in IP traffic analysis tools and familiarity with ongoing AI developments.
  • Proven understanding of IP Transit, Peering, and associated market dynamics.
  • Direct experience with complex pricing models is mandatory. The candidate must be fluent in 95th percentile billing, platform billing, multiport commitment pooling, and tiered burstable billing structures.
  • Familiarity with major global carrier-neutral data centers (Equinix, Digital Realty) and specialized AI wholesale data center footprints. Knowledge of the major cloud players and how their networks affects the IP ecosystem.
  • Strategic thinking with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English required; fluency in French (spoken and written) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Target Account Experience: 7–10+ years of experience in wholesale carrier sales, global IP transit, or dark fiber infrastructure, with a proven track record of managing a quota above $5M–$10M annually.

The Buyer Network: Existing relationships within the procurement, network architecture, and peering engineering teams at major hyperscalers or the rapidly expanding tier-2/neo-scaler market.

You bring passion, energy, taste for exploration and adaptability. You seek the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop new skills.

What we offer
  • Global Opportunities: Work in multi-national teams with opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and customers from all over the world.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Flexible working hours and the possibility to combine work from office and home (hybrid ways of working).
  • Professional Development: Training programs and upskilling/re-skilling opportunities.
  • Career Growth: Internal growth and mobility opportunities within Orange.
  • Caring and Daring Culture: Health and well-being programs and benefits, diversity & inclusion initiatives, CSR and employee connect events.
  • Reward Programs: Employee Referral Program, Change Maker Awards.
Only your skills matter

Regardless of your age, gender identity, race, ethnic origin, religion/belief, sexual orientation, marital status, neuroatypia, disability, veteran status or appearance, we encourage diversity within our teams because it is a strength for the collective and a vector of innovation. Orange Group is a disabled-friendly company and equal opportunity employer: don't hesitate to tell us about your specific needs.
