Job Description

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinic setting.  Clinical skills and knowledge of wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management are required.

  • Provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care in a clinical setting 
  • Ensure that nursing care provided to the patient is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes
  • Continually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of patients
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of community nursing experience 
  • Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Ability to work independently in managing a caseload 
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required (Additional language skills considered an asset)
  • Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care is an asset
  • Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn proprietary software
