Job Summary:

We are looking for a Maintenance Administrative Support Assistant who will be supporting managers supervisors and lead persons at their respective facility with various office and administrative duties.

Job Requirements:

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment.

• Data entry, IFS preventative maintenance entry, Job card / Labor reports, scheduling reports, ordering supplies.

• Answer phones and e-mails, and interact with shop floor personnel as needed.

• Maintain a working knowledge of Company policies and procedures.

• Attend technical meetings to provide support.

• Create files and save them in respected folders within the specific shared drive.

• Operate and maintain general office equipment (computer, copier, printer, fax, etc.).

• Maintain an acceptable attendance record.

• Comply with all APP, Inc. safety rules and company policies.

• Read and interpret purchase orders, drawings, technical specifications and customer requirement documents (as needed)

• Participate in process improvements and corrective action activities

• Will be safety conscious and put safety first.

• Demonstrates a firm commitment to quality.

• Performs other duties as required by manager.

• Report any equipment or facility defect(s) to supervisor.

• Wears proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.

• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace

• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the APP leadership.

Skill Requirements:

• Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, and exceptional follow through.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate - Microsoft Office; Internet-based programs, E-mail, experience with an ERP system (e.g. IFS, Cert APP, etc.).

• English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehension).

• Able to communicate with visitors, customers, vendors, co-workers, supervisor, and other personnel.

• 1-2 years’ experience in an office setting (preferred)

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.73 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
