Mission

I am looking for an Accounting Controller for a company in the environmental sector in Laval.
Your tasks will include:

  • Coordinating and supervising a team of three accountants, while harmonizing practices between the four subsidiaries.
  • Managing monthly closings, preparing consolidated financial statements, and analyzing variances from budgets.
  • Updating accounting procedures, ensuring tax compliance, and preparing files for audits.
  • Monitoring daily cash flow, optimizing supplier payments and customer reminders to improve cash flow.
  • Supervising invoicing, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset and inventory management.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects, automating reports, and contributing to the evolution of accounting systems.
  • All other related tasks.
Your profile

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA (an asset)
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience supervising employees
  • Experience with intercompany transactions
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables)
  • Knowledge of Sage50 (an asset)
  • Bilingual in French and English to communicate with suppliers and customers located in other provinces
