MissionI am looking for an Accounting Controller for a company in the environmental sector in Laval.
Your tasks will include:
- Coordinating and supervising a team of three accountants, while harmonizing practices between the four subsidiaries.
- Managing monthly closings, preparing consolidated financial statements, and analyzing variances from budgets.
- Updating accounting procedures, ensuring tax compliance, and preparing files for audits.
- Monitoring daily cash flow, optimizing supplier payments and customer reminders to improve cash flow.
- Supervising invoicing, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset and inventory management.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects, automating reports, and contributing to the evolution of accounting systems.
- All other related tasks.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA (an asset)
- 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience supervising employees
- Experience with intercompany transactions
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables)
- Knowledge of Sage50 (an asset)
- Bilingual in French and English to communicate with suppliers and customers located in other provinces
