Electronic Technician Iย  22-25/hr
Contract with option to hire (they want a person that will become a full time direct employee)

SUMMARY:
The position requires operation of assorted electronic test equipment and a basic understanding of flow meter calibration to enable the person to adjust, scale, and program complex electronic systems to specifications. ย 
ย 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Calibrate and program microprocessor controlled electronic equipment using personal computers.
  • Program flow computers using front panel keyboard entry of downloaded software.
  • Assemble electronic enclosures and system test electronics mated or paired with flow meters.
  • Make modifications to existing boards from engineering drawings or diagrams with guidance from an Electronics Technician II or Engineering.
  • Test and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to component level.
  • Install and solder components onto circuit boards.
  • Mix and use potting compounds, conformance coatings, etc., as required by drawings and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:ย 
  • A.S. Degree in Electronics or equivalentย 
  • One to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification to IPC-J-STD-001 desired
  • The #1 skill set would be familiarity with how to use the various electronics programming equipment - o'scopes, multimeters, decade boxes, etcย
