Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-friendly Jr. Florist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have some experience in floral arrangements, sales, and deliveries. This role involves assisting with daily operations, including creating floral arrangements, helping customers select flowers and gifts, handling sales transactions, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist florists in preparing floral arrangements for various occasions (e.g., weddings, birthdays, funerals).
  • Provide excellent customer service by helping clients choose flowers, plants, and gift items.
  • Process sales transactions using a POS system and handle cash/card payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including flower care and inventory management.
  • Arrange and wrap bouquets, gift baskets, and custom floral designs.
  • Deliver floral arrangements to customers and event locations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Load and unload floral supplies and products safely for transportation.
  • Assist with restocking flowers and supplies, checking for quality and freshness.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of flowers.
  • Manage all social media and website content, including daily "Designer's choice" floral arrangement posts, and promotion of upcoming sales, holiday specials, and seasonal campaigns to boost engagement and drive traffic.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in floral arrangement or working in a flower shop is preferred.

  • Experience with deliveries and a valid drivers license (if required for deliveries).
