The role often involves balancing direct patient care with leadership in clinical protocols and mentoring newer staff, making adaptability and communication essential.

What are Florence nurses?

Florence nurses are healthcare professionals who work through Florence, a digital staffing platform that connects qualified nurses and care workers with shifts at care homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The platform allows nurses to choose when and where they want to work, providing flexibility and control over their schedules. Florence nurses typically register through the app, undergo background checks, and can then accept shifts that match their skills and availability.
