Job description

Company Description Posey Floral & Event Design has been crafting weddings and events since 2008, specializing in private parties, weddings, corporate gatherings, galas, rehearsal dinners, holiday décor, luncheons, and custom celebrations. The team consists of passionate creatives known for meticulous attention to detail and highly customized, one-of-a-kind event designs. Services range from bespoke florals to full event design, including place settings, custom signage, and cohesive styling from concept through execution. Posey Floral & Event Design serves Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and the Texas Hill Country, and can travel to destination events as needed.


Posey Floral & Event Design is looking for reliable, energetic people to join our Event Strike Crew. This is a flexible contractor position for people who enjoy hands-on work, working behind the scenes at events, and being part of a fast-moving team.


Our team produces weddings, corporate events, galas, installations, and large-scale floral experiences throughout Austin and the surrounding area. When the event is over, our Strike Crew helps us make it all disappear.


What You'll Do
  • Break down event décor, florals, rentals, furniture, signage, and production elements
  • Load and unload trucks and transport event materials
  • Carefully pack and organize décor and floral items for return to our studio
  • Assist with moving tables, chairs, displays, structures, and other event elements
  • Work alongside Posey designers and production staff to efficiently complete event breakdowns
  • Help keep the event site and equipment organized and clean
  • Follow direction and work efficiently as part of a team
