Job description

Role Overview


We are looking for a reliable and motivated Remodeling Helper to work directly alongside our lead contractor. You will assist in a variety of residential renovation projects, including demolition, framing, finish carpentry, drywall, and general site maintenance.


This role is ideal for someone who has knowledge in the home improvement industry, follows instructions well, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist the Contractor: Work side-by-side with the lead contractor on daily renovation tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • General Remodeling: Assist with framing, hanging/finishing drywall, installing baseboards/trim, and basic flooring installation.
  • Site Preparation & Cleanup: Perform demolition, haul materials, keep the job site clean, and ensure tools are organized.
  • Tool Handling: Safely operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels, etc.).
  • Material Management: Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing building materials according to the contractor’s specifications.


Qualifications


  • Experience: Experience in a remodeling or construction setting.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read a tape measure accurately, familiarity with basic power tools, and knowledge of standard building materials.
