Commercial Flooring Estimator
The Organization
Our client is a commercial flooring contractor in the Atlanta market.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction professional to support ongoing commercial work and contribute to a disciplined estimating process.
Core Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate estimates for commercial flooring projects
  • Document Review: Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Takeoffs: Perform digital takeoffs and quantity calculations
  • Scope Tracking: Track addenda and scope changes issued by general contractors
  • Bid Assembly: Assemble complete bid packages for submission
  • Project Handoff: Support awarded project handoff to operations
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal preconstruction and leadership teams
Candidate Profile
  • Estimating Experience: Experience in commercial construction estimating
  • Trade Experience: Flooring or specialty trade experience preferred
  • Document Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Communication Skills: Professional written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
