Material Handler - Floor Covering Trade

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to support our floor covering operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling, organizing, and transporting materials to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Able to work with floor installer to get them ready to install
  • The ability to demo all flooring (by hand or running a machine)
  • Able to read a print and follow direction
  • Able to clean up a job and trash out
  • Able to follow the direction of a floor installer
  • Clean and prep for a floor installer
  • Help with unloading trucks on a job site
  • Assist installation teams by preparing and transporting materials as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in material handling or a similar role preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 100lbs).
  • Familiarity with flooring materials and tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed
Work Environment:
  • Work may include indoor and outdoor environments, including warehouses and job sites.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
