MAINTAIN APPEARANCE OF THE SELLING FLOOR

  • Reflect the current season by displays and floor layout.
  • Ensure that displays are changed on a regular basis.
  • Dress the windows and change on a regular basis to attract customers  and reflect the season.
  • Plan and direct activities of sales floor staff and volunteers.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

CASHIER DUTIES

  • Verify opening drawer funds prior to store opening and/or start of shift.
  • Greet each customer as they enter the store.
  • Check out customers quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain drawer overage and shortage to guidelines.

MERCHANDISING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the pricing of hard goods for consistency and profitability.
  • Coordinate a steady flow of merchandise from processing to the sales floor.

CLEANING DUTIES

  • Assist in keeping the sales floor and fitting rooms clean and orderly.
  • Maintain the cash register counter in a neat and clean manner.


Requirements:

  • Possess knowledge of Mission’s history and philosophy and communicate such to customers.
  • Have an understanding and working knowledge of basic math.
  • Must engage in safe and healthy work practices for staff, volunteers, and program participants.
