About the role
Provide response and documentation to security and safety related incidents, ensure proper preventative measures by maintaining presence and patrol of property including all guest floors as well as service areas in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Functions
  • Patrol the interior and exterior of the hotel, residence and office space. 30% of time.
  • Investigate crimes and accidents occurring in the hotel and create incident reports of guest and employee accidents and incidents. 10% of time.
  • Comply with preventative safety and security measures. 10% of time.
  • Assist in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to noise complaints, disorderly conduct, theft, power failures etc. 20% of time.
  • Respond and assist with all emergency situations in the hotel as necessary. 10% of time.
  • Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standard of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. 10% of time.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Operate and control the keys, lock system, alarm system, surveillance system and fire protection system. 20% of time.
Non-Essential Functions
  • The ability to conduct VIP escorts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist handicapped guests.
  • Actively participate in day-to-day security operations of the property.
  • Actively assist Safety Committee.
What you bring
Education: High school or equivalent diploma
Experience: Experience required by position is minimum of 1 full year of employment in related position with Four Seasons or other organization, or Law Enforcement / Military experience.
Skills and Abilities: Requires a working knowledge of basic security procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on the job or through professional training and certifications. Requires knowledge and ability to operate computer equipment. Ability to read and write English.
