Paramedic Supervisor - Life Flight Network - Waterville
Job Summary:
The Supervisor, Paramedic is responsible for the day-to-day operations during the shift including, but not limited to scheduling, handling complaints, supervising all staff, and ensuring proper patient care is provided. Paramedic supervisor will provide medical care and transportation of emergency and non-emergency patients at the Paramedic level of care defined by the State EMS scope of practice.
Essential Functions:
  • Performs essential duties of Paramedic
  • Handles issues regarding fleet maintenance and ensure preventative maintenance is being performed
  • Ensures availability of resources for daily operations and assist in tactical level of deployment to meet system needs
  • Assists with the investigative process for handling and reviewing incidents and issues
  • Participates with the Management Team in progressing the organization forward
  • Receives, handles, and routes inter-agency disputes/issues to the appropriate resource
  • Provides patient/client follow up

Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (required within 6 months of hire)
Associate degree (preferred)
Licensure/Certification:
American Heart Association ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required)
American Heart Association PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required)
Current paramedic-level certification in state of practice (required)
Valid State Driver's License (required)
Experience:
3 years of Paramedic experience (required)
