Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Flight Coordinator will be responsible for providing efficient ticketing and administration support to the sales team in our Boston office.

Responsiblities will include the following: 

  • Ticket all published and private tickets 
  • Ensure that all tickets are issued accurately with low DM rates
  • Process ticket changes through exchanges and refunds
  • Submit the weekly ARC sales report 
  • Manage the Apollo airline queues communicating to the sales consultants any changes with their client's flights
  • Maintain the use of Cat35/25 for our tickets
  • Process client invoices, brochure reports, questionnaire reports and payment receipt letters
  • Process final travel documents including Japan rail tickets and visas 
  • Manage incoming/outgoing post
  • Stock control of brochures and office supplies


Qualifications
  • Proven leisure travel experience in fares and ticketing required 
  • ARC qualifications taken and in date
  • Excellent knowledge and practical use of airline contracts/tariffs and accounting processes
  • Essential skills of using a GDS (APOLLO skills highly preferred)
  • Excellent geographical awareness
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
  • High level of numeracy and literacy skills
