Essential Job Function
  • Plans, directs, coordinates training & development activities and org staff;
  • Build, review, update student/permanent party records & gradebooks;
  • Use GTIMS & SARM support to determine remaining continuation training/upcoming currencies;
  • Ensure ground training requirements (i.e. IRC, CRM) & grounding or pre-deployment training requirements are met;
  • Provide updates to squadron leadership re flight & readiness status of personnel;
  • Provide daily/wkly tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishments;
  • Assist w/new curriculum development, syllabi for aircrew &v ground training for OST;
  • Assist w/prep & execution of training/testing plans;
  • Generate NMR letters, STRP briefings, Proration Consideration Reports. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • HS/GED Diploma required, College coursework desired
  • SECRET Clearance
  • 2 yrs working in DoD flying unit (Active Duty, Guard/Reserve, Contractor, or Civilian);
  • Ability to operate the following systems/programs: computer-based management system (GTIMS/GDSS2 or equivalent), SharePoint websites & communities of practice;
  • 2 yrs working w/MS Suite
