Training Specialist II

North Charleston, SC, US

Geodeiscx is searching for ground communications Training Specialist. The successful candidate will join a well established team. Previous experience with USMC ground communications systems, or similar, is highly desired.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Develop and manage New Equipment Training curriculum for the USMC Ground Radios Program
  • Facilitate Training of Marines in both in person and distance learning environments
  • Evaluate documentation on an as needed basis to validate

Desired Qualifications:

  • Instructor-led in-person formal/informal Training.
  • Instructor Certification (CTT +, Military Instructor Certification, etc. )
  • Extensive experience with military Multichannel Radio Systems/Networks
  • Knowledge of Training and Readiness (T&R) Standards/Individual Training Standards (ITS)/Mission
  • Essential Task Lists (METL)
  • Familiarity with AN/MRC142B_C, CV-FOM-D, TAC 300, KY-57; PRC 117F_G/148/1 S0/152/1 SS/158/160; AN/PSCSD; AN/TRC-209; AN/MRC145/148.
  • Experience with military tactical communications systems/equipment (Ultra Electronics-DNE Technologies/Harris/Thales/General Dynamics)
  • Experience with CPA, Radio programming, and the SKL loading process.
  • Experience with software-defined radios (SDR), HFNHF/UHF SATCOM, and COMSEC
  • Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) processes.
  • Knowledge of establishing training needs analyses.
  • Experience with developing training curriculum
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting and moving objects weighing up to 75lbs

Experience Requirements:

Seven (7) years of professional training experience, to include: establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, developing training programs, and applying the instructional system development (ISD) process.

Education Requirements:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Education, English, Psychology or related training systems discipline. Working towards Training Certification.
