Job Details:
Provides direct support on quality and compliance to internal departments and programs while remaining aligned to company-wide strategic business objectives. Responsible for implementing best practice, preventative, and continuous improvement quality management systems that provide customer satisfaction. Ensures quality compliance to contracts, industry regulations, state and federally mandated standards, including policies and procedures throughout the business unit. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs quality control tests/inspections as needed.
  • Collect data and prepare reports related to quality control.
  • Support Production in cleanroom environment to ensure workmanship standards and customer on-time delivery is met.
  • Support maintenance of gauge calibration system.
  • Support customer program requirements per requirements.
  • Support product development programs to ensure compliance to AS9100D and customer quality or regulatory standards.
  • Works with Quality Team to enhance Nuvotronics' Quality Management System.
  • Implements Quality goals and objectives in support of company-wide strategic business plans, as well as supporting QA management with special projects.
  • Develops effective working relationships with internal customers, promoting ownership, defect prevention, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support planned internal audits with departments and programs.
  • Support external audits by customers and vendors.
  • Interfaces with all appropriate departments, programs and subcontractors as related to quality problem resolution.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • 2 year associates degree required,
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in production.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels.
  • Must be objective and self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Must have ability to prioritize, progress multiple projects in parallel, and work under deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Must have a positive people-oriented attitude. Able to work in a team environment and approach all challenges openly.
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred:
  • 4 year degree in an engineering or technical-related discipline preferred
  • Quality experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System and AS9100D preferred.
  • Experience with aerospace and space/flight products a plus.
  • Experience/ knowledge of quality techniques such as root cause analysis, FMEA, control plans, and lean/six sigma a plus.

Cubic Pay Range:
$26.00 - $29.00 + benefits.
