Description:

About Premier Private Jets

Premier Private Jets is a growing, vertically integrated aviation services organization, delivering excellence across Charter Operations, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), and FBO services. With new facility expansions and increased operational volume, Premier is strengthening its safety culture and infrastructure to support long-term growth. We are committed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and risk management across every division.

Role Overview

The Aviation Safety Specialist supports the day-to-day administration of Premier's company-wide Aviation Safety Program across Flight Operations, Maintenance (MRO), and FBO operations. This role maintains and coordinates safety programs—including SMS, ERP, ASAP, and Baldwin by managing hazard reports, tracking safety data, supporting audits, and helping ensure documentation and processes stay current and compliant.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that keeps Premier's safety programs running smoothly and helps the organization stay ahead of hazards as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day activities of the aviation safety programs, including SMS, ERP, ASAP, Baldwin, and additional required frameworks.
  • Receive, log, and track hazard reports; maintain accurate records and safety databases.
  • Compile and organize safety data to support trending analysis and reporting to leadership.
  • Assist with incident, accident, and irregular operations reporting and documentation; help coordinate follow-up items.
  • Support Flight Operations, MRO, and FBO teams with safety-related documentation, forms, and recordkeeping.
  • Help schedule and coordinate safety drills and emergency response exercises.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of internal and third-party safety audits.
  • Maintain safety program files, manuals, and records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with employees across departments to support a strong reporting culture and safety awareness.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in aviation safety, quality, compliance, or a related administrative role.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Safety, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with SMS, ERP, ASAP, and safety reporting concepts; aviation industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data entry, spreadsheets, and safety reporting software (Baldwin Safety Software experience a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Why This Role Matters

  • Provides the day-to-day support that keeps Premier's safety programs organized, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for hazard reporting and safety recordkeeping across Charter, MRO, and FBO operations.
  • Offers a strong foundation and growth path within Premier's aviation safety function as the company expands.
