SUMMARY

The Catering Transport Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transport of catering equipment and products between the flight kitchen and aircraft. This role supports daily flight operations by ensuring accurate loading, delivery, and retrieval of catering items in a fast-paced, time-sensitive airport environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective coordination with internal teams and airline personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and stage all required equipment and carts for assigned flights
  • Verify catering loads against flight documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Safely load, transport, and unload catering products to and from aircraft
  • Position catering units at aircraft and operate equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Retrieve inbound carts and return them to the flight kitchen
  • Communicate with team members, flight attendants, and airport personnel to support operations and resolve issues
  • Comply with all standard operating procedures related to driving, equipment use, and aircraft servicing
  • Ensure all deliveries meet required timelines in a time-sensitive environment
  • Follow all safety, security, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
  • Any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50+ pounds
  • Ability to work from heights and in proximity to aircraft
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
