Warehouse Associate
Location: Rockwall, Texas
Business Unit: Flexpipe
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as business needs require.
Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. This position is responsible for supporting inbound and outbound warehouse activities while helping the team meet customer requirements in a safe, fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform product put-away, replenishment, staging, loading, shipping, labeling, and cycle counting activities.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse systems and manual processes.
  • Complete shipping documentation and verify shipment information accurately.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse locations to maximize storage utilization and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to inventory movement, replenishment, staging, loading, and shipping.
  • Support inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving and shipping activities.
  • Manage changing priorities and respond effectively to multiple trucks, rush orders, and operational demands.
  • Collaborate with receiving, production, field services, quality, and warehouse teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all health, safety, and operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support customer and business needs.
Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.
  • Previous sit-down forklift experience.
  • Comfortable using computers and warehouse-related systems.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with inventory counts, shipping paperwork, and numerical data.
  • Ability to solve problems, think logically, and make sound decisions.
  • Reliable, motivated, and adaptable with the ability to pivot as business needs change.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform material handling activities throughout the workday.
  • Ability to operate a forklift for a significant portion of the shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with changing priorities and occasional overtime.
