Job description

A radiology opportunity is available at a leading healthcare facility offering both day and night shifts. This position includes the flexibility of full telecommuting if you reside in Florida for outpatient readings. Ideal for physicians eager to deliver quality care to diverse patient groups, the position includes comprehensive coverage with support from advanced EMR and PACS systems.

  • Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Coverage times are 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, weekdays and weekends
  • Patient Population: All Ages
  • Location: Melbourne, FL
  • Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide radiology services with a focus on CT (50%), X-ray (25%), Ultrasound (20%), and MRI (5%)
  • Utilize Epic EMR and Optum PACS systems
  • Position requires expertise in evening shifts with some weekend coverage
Qualifications
  • Board eligible candidates accepted
  • More than 3 years of experience preferred for evening shifts
  • Florida residency required for outpatient reads if fully telecommuting
Working Hours
  • Evening shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Weekend coverage may be required
Skills
  • Proficiency in Powerscribe 1 for dictation
  • Strong diagnostic skills in MRI, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
