Swimming Pool Designer

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience in the swimming pool industry
  • 1+ year of successful experience in fast-paced, top-level sales
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a drug test/have a clean background report
  • Pool Studio experience preferred
  • ProEdge experience is a plus

Job Compensation:
  • Uncapped commissions

Duties:
  • Conduct “Design Consultation” where the salesperson meets with customers and explains the features and merits of pool ownership.
  • After assessing customer needs and expectations, design and recommend a backyard pool, utilizing professional pool design software.
  • Conduct immediate and scheduled follow-up appointments.
  • Using a presentation binder, conduct a “design presentation” to present the company, provides differentiation, and explain the process of building a pool to customers.
  • Provide a completed contract packet to the business manager for approval.
  • Be present at Day of Dig and Day of Gunite, to walk customers and construction managers through job phases.
  • Build referral relationships.
  • Exceed customer expectations.
