They often work on a contract or freelance basis, allowing them to choose assignments that fit their schedules. This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to handle large vehicles, and sometimes overnight travel. Drivers are responsible for ensuring safe and timely delivery, performing basic vehicle inspections, and maintaining delivery records. If you answered Yes to any of these questions, Parkview Simcoe, a division of Student Transportation of Canada, might be the right place for you!

We are looking for new and experienced School Bus Drivers. If you have a Class-B license, great! If you need help to get your Class-B, we will train you for FREE!

G-Class and B-Class licensed driver candidates (not currently driving a publicly funded school route) are eligible for a $1,000 bonus! Receive $500 following three months of continuous employment and the remainder following 6 months of continuous employment. An annual bonus of up to $2,000 is also offered for eligible drivers!

What We Offer:

  • Part-time, flexible employment (15-20 hours per week)
  • Make a positive difference in the lives of local children

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple! In the morning, we pick up school-aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operate Monday - Friday, from September until the end of June... that's right, summers off. Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7 am - 9:30 am and then again in the afternoon from about 2 pm - 4 pm.

Who can do this job?

As long as you are responsible adult and have at least a Class-G driver’s license, we can teach you how...for FREE!

  • Looking for extra income?
  • Recently retired?
  • Uber/Lyft/Cab experience?
