Position Details:
Full-Time Position
Primarily Mid Shift (12p-12a) but other shifts if needed
Job Summary:
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse (RN)
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team
- Teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky
- Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
