Are you passionate about agriculture, economics, commodity markets, and helping producers make confident business decisions? As an Intern with Pinion Risk Management, you'll gain real-world experience working alongside industry-leading advisors who help agricultural clients manage market volatility and strengthen financial performance. This internship offers exposure to commodity risk management strategies, client consulting, market research, and trading analysis while providing meaningful opportunities to contribute to client success.

You'll work directly with experienced professionals, participate in client engagements, and learn how risk management strategies are developed and implemented for grain, livestock, and dairy operations. By the end of the internship, you'll have practical experience applying classroom concepts to real agricultural business challenges.

Why Pinion Risk Management?

Pinion is the nation's leading food and ag consulting and accounting firm, helping clients and communities thrive through bold thinking and innovation. We foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture where professionals are empowered to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitor commodity markets and help prepare hedge summaries, market plans, and client presentations.
  • Participate in client meetings, prospect visits, trainings, and industry events alongside experienced team members.
  • Support data analysis and reporting using Excel and other risk management tools.
  • Complete a project or presentation demonstrating your understanding of agricultural risk management.

What You'll Need for This Position

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Economics, Dairy Management, Grain/Livestock Merchandising, or a related field.
