Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for a Virtual Registered Nurse 2 to join our Medical Surgical team! This is a virtual functioning role, but will work on campus.

Job Summary:
A virtual registered nurse (RN) is responsible for remote patient management and care in the inpatient setting. As a member of the patient care team, the RN collaborates, communicates, and facilitates care with providers and patients or families. Virtual nurses maintain patient anonymity and safety through the use of various technological platforms. To be successful in the role, a nurse should be comfortable making autonomous clinical decisions to provide patient-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
  • Experience:Advancement from an RN I orat least one (1) year, continuous experience in a comparable patient care setting. RNs must remain at this level for a minimum of one year before applying for advancement.
  • Certification(s):Reference Mandatory Education for Clinical and Support Staff Policy for most current Certification requirements and complete required certifications within the grace period.
  • License(s):Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.
