Position Overview

WeCare Mental Coping Strategies Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $86,000 to $103,000, along with a hiring bonus! Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that may include pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management protocols.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation that complies with regulatory standards, while employing evidence-based screening tools as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to formulate and execute positive behavior support plans, and engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Act as a vital liaison among service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance the continuity of care.
  • Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating commitment to quality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to meet contractual obligations and strengthen the organization's mission within the community.
  • Engage in networking opportunities to promote agency services and identify potential partnerships for program growth.
  • Pursue professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and participating in statewide task forces relevant to mental health.
  • Uphold and promote the agency’s mission, values, and principles in daily practice.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with encompass a diverse group, including individuals facing emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your expertise will be essential in providing therapeutic guidance tailored to each individual's unique circumstances, fostering a supportive atmosphere that empowers them on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current unrestricted LMHC license issued by the state of Florida.
  • Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and producing comprehensive reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities informed by professional knowledge and ethical considerations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community health settings or similar environments.
