Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a remote full-time role. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and identify therapeutic needs through initial consultations and ongoing evaluations.
  • Deliver tailored individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that address relationship dynamics and promote healthier interactions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring regular follow-ups to monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute emotional or behavioral issues, ensuring safety and stability during distressing situations.
  • Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and collaborate on comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals battling substance use challenges and those managing co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role will be particularly focused on navigating relational issues often at the center of these experiences, whether they pertain to couples, families, or individual dynamics. Through empathetic communication and therapeutic expertise, you will help clients foster resilience, enhance personal growth, and build supportive networks.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Exceptional clinical acumen in crisis management and psychosocial assessment, coupled with an understanding of individual and family development across the lifespan.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
