Work Environment

You will operate within a virtual outpatient counseling model, providing care to clients through scheduled video sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients, gathering detailed histories to inform treatment planning and intervention strategies.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring approaches are tailored to meet the unique characteristics of each case.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapies, adapting techniques to suit client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, engaging in regular case reviews to optimize holistic care strategies and outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health practices by participating in continuing education opportunities, workshops, and professional training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse client base that may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for candidates holding a master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience providing counseling services, particularly in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software tools, aiding in effective client management and documentation.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma, substance abuse treatment, or couples counseling is highly desirable and will be considered during the selection process.
