• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate eating disorder symptoms, including psychological evaluations that explore co-occurring mental health issues.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' diverse needs, setting realistic recovery goals through collaborative discussions.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to facilitate effective therapeutic sessions.
• Guide clients through their therapy journey by addressing and challenging distorted body image perceptions and unhealthy relationships with food.
• Teach adaptive coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation skills, and provide actionable plans to combat disordered eating behaviors.
• Work alongside your treatment team to ensure cohesive care delivery, addressing the comprehensive needs of each client and adjusting care approaches as needed.
• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families, increasing their understanding of eating disorders and fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of client interactions, progress, treatment plans, and session notes in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in clinical discussions that advance your expertise in eating disorder treatments.

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals facing eating disorders and related mental health challenges. You will work closely with a diverse client base, creating tailored interventions that promote recovery and improve overall well-being. Your efforts will directly contribute to significant improvements in clients' relationships with food, body image, and self-esteem.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• Deep understanding of the nuances surrounding eating disorders and potential co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to develop rapport and trust with clients.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in treating eating disorders and associated mental health conditions.
• Experience in a community health setting or outpatient facility can be particularly beneficial.

• Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and specialization.
